Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the DesignCo app ("DesignCo", "we") collects, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
What we collect
- Account details: your name and email address from Sign in with Apple, Google, or the email account you create. Email-account passwords are stored only as salted, one-way hashes.
- Contact details you add: an optional phone number.
- Appointments and preferences: bookings, waitlist requests, notes for your stylist, favorite services and stylists, and style preferences.
- Photos you choose to share: inspiration images you upload so your stylist can see them. We only access the photos you pick.
- Orders: products you order and their status. Payments happen in Venmo; we never receive your card or bank details.
- Membership: your Beauty Club status as confirmed by the salon.
How we use it
Only to run the app: to book and manage your visits, let the salon team prepare for them, send you appointment and waitlist updates in the app, process your orders, and provide member benefits.
Who can see it
DesignCo salon staff can see your profile, appointments, notes, shared inspiration and orders in order to serve you. Data is stored on our service provider's servers (Cloudflare) and sign-in is handled through Apple or Google when you choose them. We share nothing with advertisers or data brokers.
On your device
Face ID (if you turn on App Lock) is handled entirely by iOS; we never receive biometric data. Adding a visit to your calendar happens only when you ask, with write-only access.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account, which permanently removes your profile, sign-in, appointments, inspiration and notifications. Salon business records may be kept where the law requires.
Children
DesignCo is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
